So, lots of kids have an imaginary friend, right? Well, not our son....he has imaginary MEN. The amount of "his men" is constantly changing, but at last count it was "2 more than 14". I've told B that I can't feed that many people. And that our car doesn't have room for that many people. But, that doesn't seem to matter to him. :) Sometimes we stop on the way home (only in his imagination) to pick up his men. I will suddenly hear from the back seat, "Oh, we just picked up all my men, Mom. One of them is sitting up front next to you and the rest are here in the back." I love hearing what is going on inside his head. He is one special boy (and so is his little bro)!

Dogs, Frogs and Mocha Java Chocolate Cake
"Look, Mama! The puppy likes to swing!"
B is my more hesitant son, so when he caught 2 frogs, I was shocked and impressed!
Even J, who will usually hold/touch anything, didn't want to hold them!
"oops... I think I squished it a little too much...." (PS He was a bit traumatized when he realized it was dead. We'll have to work on our frog-holding skills.)
This kid talks about going to play with the puppies from the moment he wakes up.
My pineapple cutting skills are getting practice as we live in the land of fresh pineapple. Yum!
Our excitement of this week. Watching the truck that was stuck in front of our house (it was coming to pump out our septic tank)
After an hour of trying different things, they finally got it out with another truck
I tried a new recipe this week....mocha java chocolate cake. Absolutely amazing. Will definitely be making it again.
Yesterday was a hot, sunny day, so we stuck the tubs outside full of water
The boys and one of our neighbors had lots of fun!

Our March Life in Photos
Here's a small taste of our life last month
(from this Mama's perspective anyway...K will have to post airplane photos in another post!)
Soaking eggs and tomatoes... one way my daily life might look different (or the same!) as yours...
We made a "whale" and acted out the story of Jonah one week in preschool. B LOVES to role-play all our Bible stories.
All the kiddos (minus J in the high chair) from the families in our org's prayer group. That's 9 kids from 3 families. :)
Can you spot Kars? He's fogging for mosquitoes in our backyard.
A ride to bed...
...really helps the bedtime attitudes!
The boys request to be "wrapped up like a baby" after bath. Then they giggle and sing while snuggled next to each other...
Both of our boys are fairly organized...here's B's line of his toys.
Heading out on a "trip" with their neighbor bud!
One day the boys helped me "dig" in the flower bed
I asked J if he was dirty. I love how he looked at his hands, that's all the dirt he could see! :)
Me and my boys
These boys have so much fun together!
J and his neighbor buddy, L!
Puppy Fever
Our neighbors dogs have had 2 litters of puppies in the last month....so there are 7 puppies running around our yard & 6 more that are too little to move around yet. I don't think B & J could be any happier! Here are some pictures I captured this past week. If only you could hear their squeals!
"Hi puppy! See puppy! Love you puppy!" -J
"Come here puppies!!"
They love him as much as he loves them!
Except...sometimes he forgets to not pick them up by their neck...
Sweet boy with a sweet puppy
Loving every minute!
J's baby
Always wants to see how many he can hold...
This picture is my favorite...so adorable!
B's a little more awkward with them...
But he's still excited to hold them.
He wants to hold as many as possible...
The mama dog needs encouragement to let the 7 puppies eat!
B's getting more comfortable holding puppies...
I caught one!
Thankful the puppies are so mellow!
Can you tell he's thrilled?! J that is...
Well...this post has ended up taking days to upload! Lots of pictures, slow internet and multiple issues with captions. So, I'm just going to post it as is. As you can see from the pictures, we are loving the opportunity we have to play and snuggle with puppies. This mama is particularly thankful we can enjoy the benefits, without the responsibility of owning them! What a blessing!
