Both Missy and I have started our next IMLAC units. Missy started level 2 and I started level 5. Our organization requires that I (kars) complete unit 6. there is no such requirement for Missy, although it is preferred she learn as much Indonesian as she is able.
We have decided to go beyond the minimum as knowing the language opens many doors. The plan is for us to study until Missy completes level 6 and Kars level 9. We hope to finish language school between september and october.
Kars’ goes to class from 8-10 and Missy from 8-12. We have 2 ladies who come and help cook clean and watch the boys. Benji has had a lot of separation anxiety the last few weeks, and has spent a lot of time on a swing outside with one of the ladies pushing him waiting for Kars to come home.
Kars built Benji a indoor swing with hopes that Benji would allow the ladies to lead him back inside, though Benji loves the swing he prefers to swing outside while waiting for Kars to come home.
